Matthew's Bio:
Matthew has 28 years in the rail industry starting out as a locomotive maintenance tech for Conrail & RJ Corman RR. Matthew moved on to become a conductor and engineer in train service hauling coal and other mixed freight trains throughout Pennsylvania and Kentucky.
Matthew was hired by Rescar in DuBois, PA as an inbound inspector and was moved to Valve Supervisor within 7-months of being hired. Progressed from a 2+ year tenure as Valve Supervisor to be the Repair Superintendent and then Inspection Manager, always moving to the departments that needed assistance with Quality and Production goals.
Matthew took the opportunity to go to work for AllTranstek as a car inspector and customer representative for the PPG Chlor-Akali fleet in the northern U.S., performing car inspections and "shop watch" audits for customer contracted repair shops.
Matthew originally left AllTranstek to be Plant Manager at a Watco repair shop in Hollidaysburg, PA but after 17 months as Plant Manager, took the opportunity to rejoin the consulting world with Watco Compliance Services.
Watco Compliance Services was dis-banded and Matthew landed back at Rescar, DuBois as Assistant and then Plant Manager. When they announced the Rescar shops were for sale, Matthew realized once again that consulting is where he belonged.
Matthew has 7+ years of actual consulting for the rail industry. 28 years rail experience.
