Salco welcomes newest additions to its Engineering and Technical Consulting Services Group


Carl Hybinette – Manager, Technical Engineering Services, Joins Salco Products Engineering and Technical Consulting Services Group 

Lemont, IL (2016) Salco Products, Inc. is proud to announce, and welcome, Carl Hybinette as Salco’s newest staff member to join our Engineering and Technical Consulting Services group.

Carl S. Hybinette joins Salco with over 40 years of experience in the rail industry, having extensive history with industry leaders such as Union Tank and Watco. Carl’s areas of expertise include corrosion, accident investigation, failure analysis, manufacturing and repair facility design, manufacturing technology and methods, welding, quality control, and rail fleet engineering. 

Carl’s vast experience in the railroad tank and rail car industry include, managerial experience in Fleet Engineering, Welding Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing Plant Management, and R&D. Carl holds a patent (assigned to Union Tank Car) for a method of welding tank car tanks by Laser Hybrid Welding. Carl is the chair of the AAR Steels Task Force, which investigates steel related issues, including the development of improved steel specifications and new steels for tank car applications. 

Carl will provide our client’s expertise in welding, weld engineering, metallurgy, railcar corrosion, and plant engineering and workflow. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Master of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Master of Business Administration, both from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

Carl is also a Certified Quality Auditor, ASQ/CQA #47254.

Phil Goginsky – Performance Assurance Engineer, Joins Salco Products Engineering and Technical Consulting Services Group 

Lemont, IL (2016) Salco Products, Inc. is proud to announce, and welcome, Phil Goginsky as Salco’s newest staff member to join our Engineering and Technical Consulting Services group.

Phil Goginsky joins Salco with over 40 years of experience in the rail industry with North American Car and GE Capital. In Phil’s career he has held various positions with GE, among those include; Manager Customer Service, Systems Analyst IT Dept., Manager Mobile/Light Repair, Plant Manager positions at both Kansas City Stateline Shop and Chicago Heights Wheel Shop, Sales Manager with GE Leasing Sales, and finally in Field Service Manager, Corporate QA Dept.

Phil will specialize in car inspection services and asset valuation. Phil will also provide our client’s expertise in shop quality assurance and invoice auditing. Phil holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from DePaul University, Chicago campus. Phil is also a Certified Quality Inspector, American Society for Quality

(ASQ). “We are extremely fortunate to have Phil join us, his hands-on car and shop knowledge will add great value to our customers” commented Tom DeLafosse, Vice President, Engineering and Technical Services. Roberto Sanchez – Performance Assurance Engineer, Joins Salco Products Engineering and Technical Consulting Services Group 

Lemont, IL (2016) Salco Products, Inc. is proud to announce, and welcome, Roberto Sanchez as Salco’s newest staff member to join our Engineering and Technical Consulting Services group.

Roberto has 4 years’ experience in the rail industry, but has over 15 years’ experience in Quality Assurance In several different fields. Roberto has extensive experience in operations, Inspections, regulations, auditing, training, NDT, quality control. Roberto is an excellent public speaker and donates his time to many worthwhile causes. 

Roberto is a published author who has given lectures on several topics all over the world. He has a Doctorate in Divinity and is an ordained minister as well as a very active Freemason. He has served on the board of Directors for the Shrine’s Children Hospital in Houston as well as serving on the board of the Houston Masonic Library Museum.  Roberto is fluent in Spanish and has written and translated many quality assurance programs and various procedures into Spanish. 

Initially Roberto’s role will be providing our client’s his car inspecting expertise in all of North America. Roberto holds dual citizenships in both Mexico and the US. Roberto is fluent in Spanish and is intermediate in Italian.

He is a very avid Rugby player and has played for the Texas select Under 19 team, the University of Houston as well as the University of St Thomas, H.A.R.C. and the Houston Wonderers. Roberto Graduated from the University of Houston, where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

Roberto is married and lives in Houston with his wife Suzette.

Dennis Allbritten – Performance Assurance Engineer, Joins Salco Products Engineering and Technical Consulting Services Group 

Lemont, IL (2016) Salco Products, Inc. is proud to announce, and welcome, Dennis Allbritten as Salco’s newest staff member to join our Engineering and Technical Consulting Services group.

Allbritten joins Salco with over 30 years of experience in the rail industry, having extensive history with industry leaders such as Union Tank, AllTranstek and GE Capital. Dennis has extensive experience years in Engineering, Welding, and Quality, including design, operations, regulations, auditing, maintenance, and repair, of all types of railroad rolling stock. Dennis also has many years of experience in the nuclear industry as a QA/QC Engineer and Lead Auditor under ANSI N45.23 and Petro-Chemical as a reactor operator and loader/unloader.
